Emporia State sophomore guard won the MIAA’s first player of the week honor, the conference announced Monday.
Boston averaged 25 points and 5.5 assists in ESU’s two victories in last weekend’s Candlewood Suites/Mix 104.9 Classic. That included Friday’s game against Cameron, where she had a career-high 34 points and made a Lady Hornet record 9 of her 10 three-point attempts.
Against Texas Woman’s University the next night, Boston had 16 points and six assists. She also was named the Classic’s Most Valuable Player.
