Odell M. Van Patten of Burlington has been sentenced to prison for a conviction of attempted sale of marijuana.
Coffey County District Judge Phillip M. Fromme on Nov. 9 sentenced Van Patten, 26, to a controlling term of 14 months in prison.

Coffey County Sheriff’s officers also were involved in the investigation, Witteman said.
