Retirement

Holiday Remembrance Program
The 11th annual Holiday Remembrance Program will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 24 at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls. This is a time to remember the people who have died recently or many years ago. This program is open to anyone who feels this may help them cope with their grief during this holiday season.
There will be a short presentation of ideas which have helped others celebrate the holidays without their special people. A candle-lighting ceremony will follow with a time to place ornaments on the Memory Tree. If you wish to bring an ornament which represents special talents, occupation, hobbies, etc., of those people, please do so. We encourage you to write the names of the people on the ornaments. Share your stories and support others while you enjoy refreshments.
For more information, call Susan Alexander, Grief Facilitator-Certified Celebrant, at the funeral home (620) 273-6311.
Brochures containing suggestions for holiday celebrations are available at the funeral home.
