Fall colloquium on Friday

The School of Library & Information Management at Emporia State University will host its annual fall colloquium at 2 p.m. Friday in 330 Visser Hall. SLIM invites students, faculty, alumni and members of the library professions to attend.
A live Web cast and teleconference option is available for those persons at a distance. Donald Wicks, associate professor at the School of Library and Information Science, Kent State University, will be the guest speaker on the topic “Working With Seniors: Methodological Issues in Information Research”.
Wicks has been a member of the Kent State faculty since 1999. He earned his doctoral degree in library and information science from the University of Western Ontario and holds master’s degrees in Biblical studies and history. He received third place honors in the ALISE Doctoral Research Poster Session in 1997.
