Police investigate robbery

Emporia police are investigating a robbery reported early this morning on East Sixth Avenue.

The man told officers he was walking in the 300 block of East Sixth Avenue when a man tripped and shoved him to the ground and took his wallet. The man ran off and the victim suffered minor lacerations to his face.
