Lyndon, Olpe dominate All-LCL 11-man squad

State playoff qualifiers Lyndon and Olpe dominated the All-Lyon County League 11-Man football first team, as the two schools combined to account for 16 of the 28 total positions.
Both schools had two players named first-teamers on both offense and defense.
Lyndon’s Quinn Kirsop (defensive end, offensive lineman) and Kade Neilson (linebacker, running back) and Olpe’s Josh Klumpe (defensive end, tight end) and Alex Dreier (linebacker, offensive lineman) each earned first-team honors as two-way players.
Also picking up first-team nods for Lyndon were defensive lineman Michael Jones, linebacker Shea Kirsop, defensive back Keene Niemack, offensive lineman Alex Wendling and kicker Alex Walsh.
Olpe’s other first-team selections were defensive lineman Josh Lambert and defensive back and punter Cole Krueger.
Chase County’s Brian Palermo also received two-way first-team honors, as he was selected as an All-League running back and defensive back.
Chase County offensive lineman Kyle Hannigan, defensive lineman Brendan Potter and linebacker Nathan Phipps also were named to the All-Lyon County League squad.
