As we head into the Christmas shopping season, The Gazette would like to know why you shop Emporia.
What stores encourage you to spend your hard-earned dollars here? How do they do it?

Towne Crier: They are knowledgable and have signings, they draw people in. Just nice people!
L and L Pets: Good variety, terrific and accomodating owner, nice employees. Always a pleasure to shop there.
Bluestem: Variety, everyone there has a good attitude. They have things we can't find anyplace else. Popcorn on Saturdays. Why the popcorn is so important, I don't know, but I know I'd be disappointed if they stopped.
Bath and Body in the mall: Very helpful. I like their sales. I like that they carry some natural products. Good variety.
