I think the city commissioners have sent a message loud and clear exactly what they intend to do.
Make sure we send our message loud and clear at the next election.
Unless, of course, they can manage to get enough Somalians brought here to vote to keep them in office between now and then.

Sorry for any confusion we may have caused.
The city commission lunch at the Ayan Café was in conjunction with a study session with the Human Relations board. The commission often schedules lunch meetings with other boards.
The meeting was publicized well in advance just as all the city meetings are. We posted a special notice late this morning in case anyone wanted to go.
The commission's regular action meeting remains at its regular time and location this afternoon — 1:30 p.m. in the city meeting room.

Wow, did the commissioners send a statement with that one.....at the Ayan Cafe???? Come on commissioners...is THAT where your votes came from?? Tax dollars from there too?? And, of course, with no notice, now you can say nobody cared enough to show up. Hope they aren't serving Chinese wheat gluten today......
