• Today — Junior high basketball Lebo at Hartford, 5 p.m. Hartford High School; Lyon County music concert, 7 p.m., Emporia University.

• Wednesday — Hartford High School Student Council is having a blood drive at the school on from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you have an appointment, please keep it.

• Thursday — Junior high basketball at Madsion, 5 p.m. Good Luck to the Future Business Leaders of America members who are traveling to Cincinnati, Ohio.

Library news

Story hour at 9:30 Tuesday will be learning about turkeys. All pre-school children are welcome.

Running On Empty

The band plays at the Wagon Wheel at 9 p.m. Saturday. This is open to all ages. Come out and enjoy good music.
