SOS gets grant
SOS in Lyon County has received $12,984 in grant funding for supervised exchange and visitation services, according to a news release. Nearly $100,000 in grant funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services State Access and Visitation Program was announced by Governor Kathleen Sebelius in the news release. Ten counties in Kansas, including Lyon County, received the money. The primary objective is to enable communities to create programs which support and facilitate access and visitation by non-custodial parents with their children, said the release.
