A pair of racing gloves autographed by Clint Bowyer will be among items offered at the sixth annual Emporia Main Street auction tonight. Bowyer wore the gloves while racing in the Sharp AQUOS 500 on Sept. 2 in Fontana, Calif.
Main Street Director Kayla Oney said the gloves arrived Wednesday morning.
“Each one is actually autographed,” she said. “I think we’re going to auction them off as a pair.”
The auction, which raises money for Main Street projects, will begin with a social hour and silent auction at 5:30 p.m. in the Wheat State Grille. Wheat State will provide hors d’oeuvres for the event and a cash bar will be available. Live bidding will start at 7:30 p.m.
