The long weekend may have been expensive for school and city governments in two Lyon County towns.
Two laptop computers were stolen in a burglary discovered Sunday morning at the Admire Grade School.
According to information from the Lyon County Sheriff’s office, the break-in happened between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Entry was gained through a window in the principal’s office.
In Hartford, vandals apparently broke out a large glass window at the Hartford Community Center. The incident was reported at 12:37 p.m. Monday.
Loss was estimated at $1,000.
Deputies are investigating the cases.
