4-H club project

Members of the Sunflower 4-H Club have decorated every tombstone in the Americus Cemetery with at least one flower.

Members, leaders, parents and siblings who assisted with the project were Stacie, Kara and Dillon Horton; Sandy, Krisanne and Randal Karr; and Lakota and Lakin Preisner.

Dale and Belle Grimsley and Claude and Melba Roswurm from the Americus Chamber of Commerce and Mark and Tina Rollins, visitors from Louisville, Ken., also provided assistance.

Stacie, Kara and Dillon Horton also placed flowers in the Sunnyside Cemetery, southwest of Bushong in the Americus Township.

Fruitland Cemetery, west of Americus, will also be decorated by the Sunflower 4-H members.

That's Great! I did not know there was a Sunflower 4-H club. A few friends and I are working a great site devoted to sunflowers. It will have everything imaginable about sunflowers with all kinds of great information, links to the best products and a discussion area. The forum is already open! Check us out at http://www.SunflowerOcity.com
