THE EMPORIA Farmers’ Market has been serving the community since 1982. In conjunction with our Silver Anniversary and Emporia ’s 150th birthday, we are seeking 150 donors at $25 each. Each donor will be listed on a special “150 x $25” Silver Anniversary page in The Learning Connection summer catalog. The deadline for the catalog is Monday.
Heartfelt thanks go out to all of the wonderful people who have already answered TLC director Cheryl Patton’s call for help. The response clearly demonstrates the importance of quality-of-life issues to the good people of Emporia and surrounding areas, who as of Thursday had contributed $2,338, in amounts ranging from $5 to $500.
