Friday Thoughts is a light-hearted commentary.
TWO WEEKS ago in Friday Thoughts, I wrote about how I look forward to our children getting older so I could sit on the porch and watch them do the spring yard chores for me.
In the Madison News, their anonymous columnist who writes under the pen name E.M.M., responded to my column. He wrote that, from his experience of raising three kids, I should “Dream on!”
But he did go on to say that he wouldn’t know what he would do if his wife quit mowing the lawn.
You know, E.M.M may have a really good idea here.
