Garrett has one brother, Trayton Shane Audiss, and one sister, Kodi Michelle Audiss. Grandparents are Mike and Terry Dean of Madison, Norval Audiss of Iola and Max and Ruthie Zimmerman of Chanute. The great-grandmothers are Patricia Ward of Emporia, Ivy Bell Audiss and Esther Yohon of Yates Center.

The great-grandparents are Barney Ruth Ferrier and the late Ira Ferrier and Paul Sweetman and the late Barbara Sweetman, all of Emporia; the late John and Alberta Hinrichs of Reading; and the late Pablo and Refugia Gutierrez of Topeka.
