A preliminary hearing was continued Friday afternoon in two cases involving multiple charges of sexual exploitation of children and providing alcohol or drugs to minors.
The hearing for Raul M. Magallanez Jr. had begun Thursday morning in Lyon County District Court and resumed on Friday before Judge Lee Fowler.
The hearing will be resumed at 9 a.m. on April 18.
“It is continued to secure a witness,” said Jeanne Turner, clerk of the district court.
Magallanez’s bond was set at $100,000 in each case. He remains in the Lyon County Jail.
