ESU baseball, softball games to be broadcast

The Emporia State baseball and softball teams will have 16 of their games broadcast on the radio or Internet during the rest of the 2007 season.
KFFX-FM Mix 104.9 will broadcast three baseball games and one softball game, while the other 12 contests will be available online at kvoe.com.
The broadcasts start Friday with an Internet-only call of the Emporia State-Missouri Southern baseball game.
Greg Rahe, who is in his 19th year broadcasting Hornet events, will handle the play-by-play duties.

Watson earns another All-American honor
Emporia State basketball player Donta Watson added to his list of recognitions on Friday, as he was named a Division II Bulletin All-American honorable mention.
The senior was second in the MIAA in scoring with 19.1 points per game while leading the conference in 3-pointers per game (3.93) and free-throw percentage (83.3 percent).
Watson was joined on the list by MIAA MVP Hunter Henry, who earned a fourth-team selection, and Central Missouri’s Zack Wright, who was also an honorable mention.
