Spring Festival in Olpe
The St. Joseph Spring Festival will be held Sunday at St. Joseph Catholic School in Olpe. The dinner and games begin at 3 p.m. and end at 6:30 p.m. Bingo begins at 6:45 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall. There will be a raffle featuring a grand prize of a handmade quilt made by the Quilting Corner. There also will be cash and merchandise prizes. During the evening, there will be children’s games.
The dinner menu includes ham, roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, chicken and noodles, green beans, coleslaw, gelatin salads, pickles, beets, rolls, homemade pies, cakes and cookies, water, tea and coffee. Dinner tickets can be purchased at the door. The cost for adults is $8; youth 6-10 years, $3; and children younger than six years, $1. Carry-out meals will be available, also.
All proceeds benefit St. Joseph Catholic School.
Biscuits and gravy for Hartford
A Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast with homemade cinnamon rolls will be served from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the new Hartford Community Building in Hartford.
Proceeds will be used to help with the financing of the Hartford 150th Celebration, which will be held in May 2007.
