Emporia Police Department responded to a report of an aggravated robbery at 3:56 a.m. Wednesday at the Best Western Motel, 3021 West Highway 50.
Police Lt. Larry Adams said the clerk reported that an unknown man entered the lobby and demanded money. He left with an undetermined amount of cash.
Anyone with information about this crime or the previous robberies that have been committed recently in Emporia are asked to call the Emporia Police Department at 342-1766.

The e.p.d. have plenty of time to pick-up alot of d.u.i. How come they can't caught the people that are breaking intio car's add houses. The are having a hard time caughting the strong arm robbers too.

Goodness, that was more then a few spelling mistakes! I think it's a good thing that E.P.D. picks up a lot of DUI's. Are you complaining? Or one of those that were picked up? Maybe you should put down the beer , eventually things will become clearer.
