An Emporia woman was injured Sunday when a car leaving the Flinthills Mall turned left in front of her car.
Paula Windholz, 56, was treated at Newman hospital Sunday and then released. She was driving north on Industrial Road when a 2001 Honda Civic turned left out of the mall’s parking lot and into the path of her Oldsmobile.
The Honda’s driver, 20-year-old Melissa Edie of St. Joseph, Mo., was ticketed for failing to yield while turning left. Neither she nor her passenger, 21-year-old Jayson Johnson of Americus, were injured.
Windholz’s car was towed from the scene. All three people were wearing seat belts.
