Ditches and culverts
The Americus City Council is asking all residents to keep their culverts and ditches free from yard debris. The recent spring rains have contributed to the problem.
Angel Food
The Americus United Presbyterian Church is taking Angel Food orders from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The pick-up date is 1 to 3 p.m. April 14 at the church at 561 Broadway. Flyers may be picked up at businesses around town.
Easter egg hunt
An Easter Egg Hunt is being organized for April 7. For information or to make a donation, call (620) 443-5997.
Antique
power association
An antique tractor pull will be held at the Lyon County Fairgrounds at 1 p.m. April 14. The rain date is April 21. There is no admission charge and the public is invited to watch.
