The Emporia Community Foundation Board of Directors is accepting applications for grants that will be made available for community projects.
Organizations from all counties served by the foundation are eligible to apply for grants. Applications must be postmarked on or before Friday, April 13, 2007, to be considered.
The ECF makes grants for “innovative and creative projects and programs that are responsive to changing community needs in the areas of health, social service, education, recreation, and cultural affairs.
The foundation’s purpose is to improve the quality of life in the region served, which includes Lyon, Chase, Greenwood, Morris, Osage, Coffey, and Wabaunsee counties.
