Lyon County commission
Lyon County commissioners will meet for a study session beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday. Items on the agenda include:
• Consider resolution relating to solid waste management plan.
• Consider using up to $13,000 from diversion fund for purchase of equipment for Emporia Police Department.
• Consider using up to $15,000 from diversion fund for purchase of equipment for Emporia State University Police Department.
• Consider using up to $1,400 from diversion fund for purchase of body armor and carrier for hostage negotiation team for the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
• Consider payment of professional engineering and architectural services invoice to BG Consultants Inc. for $6,876.79 relating to the 402 Annex project.
• Consider contractor’s final application for payment in the amount of $49,428.06 to Markowitz Builders relating to the 402 Annex project.
