Rotary Youth Leadership Academy
Washburn University will once again be host for the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) for “soon-to-be high school sophomores and juniors” from June 3 -9. Activities include a ropes course challenge, a day of service to the community and various leadership labs. Applications are available from school guidance counselors. Harvest Days meeting
The Hartford Harvest Day committee will have its first meeting at 6 p.m. March 28 at Hartford City Hall. Those who wish to volunteer for this event are to attend this meeting. It is open to the public.
Spring Expo
The Peter Pan Playground Committee will be at the Spring Expo this weekend at the Civic Auditorium. Children’s hand print tiles will be available for a $5 donation. The tiles will be permanently displayed at the playground when it is built this fall. For more information call 342-1600.
Negotiations meeting
A negotiations meeting has been called for Southern Lyon County USD No. 252, starting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 26 in the board meeting room at the Board of Education Office in Hartford.
