SOSU uses 29-4 second-half run to take control

Andrew Davison had a career-high 18 points for ESU, while Donta Watson had 17.
Davison and Wes Book hit consecutive 3-pointers to give the Hornets their largest lead at 18-13 with 9 minutes left in the first half.
ESU scored 24 of its 31 first-half points from the three-point line. The Hornets hit 8 of their 16 long-range attempts.
ESU had just two two-point field goals in the first half.
SOSU took its first lead on two free throws from Matt White, making it 43-42 with 11:14 left in the game.
The Savage Storm went on a 13-0 run at the 12:57 mark of the second half, turning a 45-42 deficit into a 52-42 lead. SOSU extended that to a 29-4 run, making it 68-46 with 3:43 remaining.
The Hornets cut the lead to 72-62 with 1:28 left, but they would not get any closer.
