NCAA tickets now Available

Tuesday, March 6, 2007

Ticket information has been announced for the Emporia State men’s and women’s basketball teams for their NCAA Tournament appearances this weekend.

The No. 11 ESU women will take on Texas A&M-Commerce at 6 p.m. on Friday at the MWSU Fieldhouse in St. Joseph, Mo. If ESU advances, it would play the 8 p.m. game Saturday and the 7 p.m. game Monday.

Tickets are $12 per session for reserved tickets, $8 for adult general admission and $4 for students. An all-session reserved pass costs $25 and will allow the ticketholder into all three days of the tournament.

A limited number of general admission tickets for Lady Hornets fans can be ordered through the ESU ticket office at (877) 341-NEST. Once those 200 general admission tickets are sold, fans can contact the MWSU ticket office at (816) 271-5904 or (816) 271-4481 beginning on Wednesday.

MWSU Fieldhouse seats 3,750 people and is located on the campus of Missouri Western in St. Joseph, Mo.

The ESU men will face No. 9 Southeastern Oklahoma State at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the UCM Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg, Mo. If the Hornets advance, they would play the 5 p.m. game Sunday and the 7 p.m. game on Tuesday.

Tickets are $10 per session for reserved tickets, $8 per session for adult general admission and $3 per session for students. An all-session reserved pass costs $25, while an all-session general admission pass costs $20.

A limited number of general admission tickets for Hornet fans can be ordered through the ESU ticket office. Once those 100 GA tickets are sold, fans can contact the UCM ticket office at (660) 543-4063.

The UCM Multipurpose Building has a capacity of 8,500 and is located on the campus of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Mo.

If the ESU women win on Friday, Hornet fans should be able to make both games on Saturday if they so choose.

Warrensburg and St. Joseph are 121 miles away, meaning that fans should be able to make the two-hour trek between the Hornets’ 2:30 tip in Warrensburg and the Lady Hornets’ potential 8 p.m. tip in St. Joseph.
