The Emporia State men in fact are going to be dancing in this year's Division-II men's basketball tournament, earning a No. 7 seed in the South Central Region after the brackets were released Sunday night.
The Hornets (21-7) were unsure if they would make the tournament after losing in the first round of the MIAA Tourney to Truman.
ESU will take on No. 2 seed Southeastern Oklahoma on Saturday at the UCM Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg, Mo.
The Lady Hornets, meanwhile, earned the No. 5 seed and will play fourth-seeded Texas A&M Commerce on Friday in St. Joseph, Mo.
If ESU advances, it will play the top-seeded and host school Missouri Western.
