The Emporia A-16s picked up a pair of forfeit victories over the Topeka Senators Tuesday night in Topeka.

Emporia took the wins after Topeka was unable to start with a full lineup of nine players.

The Senators had nine show up to the game, but one player rolled his ankle in warm-ups and couldn’t compete.

The two teams ended up scrimmaging instead of playing official games.

Emporia (7-12) will play host to a different Topeka team on Thursday.
