Blames the governor

Wednesday, June 20, 2007

WHILE TRYING to call the unemployment office to try and get things expedited on an issue. I have come across a very bad situation in our state.

As of Friday, all call centers were closed except the one in Topeka. Now anyone with a third-grade education would be able to see this is not a smart thing to do. I have tried for over two hours at a time on separate occasions this week to get through to someone and have never been able to. After sitting and going through the hoops of the automated answering system, getting told to hang up and call back.

Not only do you not get a human, but each time you call you have to listen to the same speech over and over, takes four minutes to get told to call back. But if you call to complain to the governor’s office, they put you right through, no complaint taken ... No problem with the system.

Funny how they have a direct line in but we who actually need to get in cannot. Is this how she was voted as one of the top five governors? If there are no complaints then there can be no problems, right? Nice way to hide the real story of an ineffective governor with an ineffective government.

We all know if you close offices but do not reduce workload, then there will be a problem. ...

Governor, if you really want to save money, why not cut some of your pet projects? Get more industry, lower taxes and make this the great state it once was again. ...

This is not your state, it is ours. It is not your money, it is ours. Protect it and use it wisely. But for now, we can only hope the next elections get here before you destroy the state.
