Emporia City Commission
The Emporia City Commission will meet at 7 p.m. today in the commission chambers, 518 Mechanic St. The meeting will include a public hearing at 7:05 p.m. on industrial tax abatements for EVCO Wholesale Foods Commissioners will consider:
F A proclamation naming July 7 “Clint Bowyer Day.”
F A resolution adopting a TIF/TDD policy, establishing when and how the city will offer incentives for retail business.
F A debt resolution for the Greenwood Addition street and sewer project.
F A petition for sanitary sewer and water line improvements in the Cedar Bend Second Addition.
F A force account agreement for the Union Street brick street restoration.
F Bids for the heating and cooling system for the pool at the Lee Beran Recreation Center.
F Authorizing a nuisance lawsuit at Heartland Mobile Home Park.
F Rescheduling the July 4 city commission meeting.
