Heck of a show

I GUESS I’m getting to be an old fogey, but I did have fun recently.
Our son drove us up to the front door of the Albert Taylor Hall and I managed to get down to the third row to watch the lithe and supple young ladies of the communities present their dance review, from the youngest (some only 4 years old) doing their dance to the tune of Shirley Temple’s “Good Ship Lollipop” to the “Ladies in Red” doing their Las Vegas chorus line dance.
There were solo dancers and limber gymnasts; also, beautiful costumes and good music.
Perhaps few will dance professionally, but all will benefit from the exercise, training and discipline that they receive.
I was impressed by the hours of practice these young ladies must have devoted to their dances, also by the time and effort that it took for the parents to make this program possible.
How devoted the dance instructors must be!
Sherry’s Dance Workshop has been a busy place!
