4-H scholarship
Kansas 4-H members from 23 counties and six Kansas State University Research and Extension Districts will share more than $34,000 in scholarships awarded at the 2007 Emerald Circle Banquet in Manhattan May 31.
Larissa Wimbs of Coffey County was awarded the John L. Wilson Memorial Scholarship.
Baker graduate
Amy Seaton of Burlington was among more than 700 undergraduate, graduate and nursing students at Baker University to receive their degrees during commencement ceremonies May 20 at the Collins Center.
Accepts scholarship
The University of Arkansas-Fort Smith has announced the names of several students who have signed acceptance contracts for scholarships for the fall 2007 semester. Kevin M. Allegre of Lebo has accepted a University Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. He is the son of Peter and Helen Allegre and a 2007 graduate of Lebo High School.
