A Federal grand jury in Wichita this week indicted two illegal aliens from Mexico who were arrested in May in Chase County.
Tomas Barraza-Ramos, 50, was indicted for unlawfully re-entering the United States after being deported for an aggravated felony conviction. He was found on May 17 in Chase County.
If convicted, he faces a maximum of 20 years in federal prison without parole and a fine up to $250,000.
The case was investigated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Luis Pineda-Jimenez, 35, was indicted on the same charge as Barraza-Ramos and faces the same maximum penalty.

This is actually hysterically funny.
Think about it: If these guys are convicted, who really pays? We do.
They've come to America, committed felonies, got deported. They come back. They get caught.
Now, if convicted, WE'LL PAY FOR THEM TO BE IN PRISON, WE'LL PAY THEIR FINES.
There must be a better solution, don't you think? (When I say "you" I am generally speaking).
And, I have absolutely no problem with kicking out people who have committed felonies. I do have a problem paying for them to stay here in prison for the rest of their lives.
