Hatfield competes at Divison I Championship meet in Lenexa

Emporia Aquatic Club member Maggie Hatfield turned in a solid outing this weekend competing at the Division I Championship Meet in Lenexa.

Hatfield participated in four events, earning her top finish in the 50-meter backstroke by finishing 20th in a time of 45.21 seconds.

Hatfield also finished 28th in the 100 backstroke (1:44.47), 30th in the 50 breaststroke (53.33) and 46th in the 50 freestyle (42.51).

The Division I Championship Meet featured more than 30 teams from Kansas and Missouri, with more than 500 swimmers participating in the three-day meet.
