Vacation Bible School

First Christian

“Quest for Truth — Jesus: The Way, the Truth, the Life” is the theme for VBS at First Christian Church. VBS will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and will feature supper, Bible stories, crafts, games, songs and treats for children from age 3 through adults. Lebo United Methodist

Lebo United Methodist Church Vacation Bible School, “Lift Off! Soaring New Heights with God,” will from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday through Friday. The children, “Sky Scouts,” will have a different “flight plan” each day. To register or for more information, call (620) 256-6485. First Baptist

First Baptist Church Vacation Bible School, “Adventure of the Treasure Seekers: Exploring God’s Promises,” will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday at HIS Place, 801 Constitution St. There will be daily “Discovery Digs” for children to explore the Scriptures and “find God’s promises.” This program offers fun, interactive activities that combine the world of archaeology with the discovery of treasure in the Bible. Children will take part in an actual dig and find treasures that remind them of the Bible story and God’s promise for that day. Children also will be involved in local mission projects, sing Treasure Seekers tunes, create some memorable crafts and make new friends. For more information, call 343-3112.

The First Congregational Church Vacation Bible School, “Galilee-By-The-Sea!” for children from four years old to adult will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 23-27. Participants will enjoy authentic Bible--times crafts, experience “thrilling real-life dramas,” play traditional Bible -times games, sample Middle Eastern snacks and hear unforgettable music. Life Church

Life Church Vacation Bible School, Mega Sports Camp, for children from three years old to sixth grade, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. July 23-27at the church, 1801 Graphic Arts Road. Children three and four will learn T-ball and children five years old through sixth grade can choose between softball and soccer. The group will also sing songs, eat snacks and hear stories about God’s love. Friday night is for the entire family with hot dogs, games, songs and stories and an awards ceremony. Hartford Christian

Hartford Christian Church Vacation Bible School, “Avalanche Ranch,” will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 23 through July 27, with a closing program at 6 p.m. July 29. All children, pre-school through junior high school, are welcome to attend.

First Church of God

The First Church of God, 133 N.W. Mayes, in Melvern will have Vacation Bible School for children from 5 to 12 years from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 23 to July 27.
