Although gasoline prices in Emporia dipped slightly overnight, gas remains significantly cheaper in other towns, according to readers who have reported on recent road trips.
While the lowest price in Emporia on Thursday was $3.25 a gallon, two callers reported finding gas for $2.99 a gallon in Topeka and Ottawa. This morning, gas prices at some Emporia stations had dropped 6 cents to $3.19.
