Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn is asking for assistance in locating the owner or owners of six horses located in southwest Osage County in the area of 277th and Davis roads.
The animals appear to have been on pasture for an extended period of time and are in poor condition.
The small herd is made up of a sorrel male, two gruello or dun mares, a bay with a limp, and two dark brown or black yearlings of unknown genders. The sorrel male appears to be a Thoroughbred and the remainder appear to be Quarter Horse crosses.
Anyone who has information about ownership of the horses is asked to call the Osage County Sheriff’s office at (785) 828-3121 as soon as possible.
