Brumbaugh wins star award

An Emporia State University staff member was recently honored for providing dedicated and outstanding service to Kansas entrepreneurs and the Kansas Small Business Development Center.
Lisa Brumbaugh, regional director of ESU’s Small Business Development Center, received the 2007 State Star award from the KSBDC network. This award began in 2000 to honor a person who has provided dedicated and outstanding service to Kansas entrepreneurs and to the center.
Brumbaugh got a plaque and will also get a free trip to the national conference this fall in Denver. At the conference she will be recognized at a reception and dinner, along with all of the State Star award winners from the other states.
