7 ESU Track and Field Athletes named to All-Academic team

Seven Emporia State track and field athletes have earned U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honors.
Eric Wellman and Andy Vogelsberg were the honorees on the men’s side, while Connie Philips, Danielle Sedivy, Emily Morgan, Jaclyn Sill and Jonel Rossbach took the women’s distinction.
To qualify for the All-Academic team, athletes must have a grade-point average of 3.25 or higher and obtain an automatic or provisional qualifying mark for the most recent indoor or outdoor championships in their respective event.
One-hundred six Division-II athletes were given the honor on the men’s side, while 180 were named to the squad on the women’s side.
