Lebo-Waverly board
The Lebo-Waverly school board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the board office at Waverly. The board will deal with organizational issue for the new year.
Also on the agenda:
- Members of the Lebo Park Board will discuss a proposal to start baseball and softball teams.
- A discussion of a budget proposal. The proposal would result in a small increase in the mill levy.
- A request to approve insurance for students.
- Approval of proposed teacher contracts.
- Consider raising the $35 textbook rental fee to $40.
Neosho Rapids council
The Neosho Rapids City Council will continue discussions of the grant process for improving the city’s waste water system when it meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the community building.
RDA meeting
The Regional Development Association of East Central Kansas will get a budget report when it meets at 7 a.m. July 13 at the Trusler Business Center.
Also on the agenda are a report of the group’s projects and a discussion on an amendment to the by-laws.
