Justin Richardson of Reading has been chosen to serve as an area director of the National Youth Cutting Horse Association. He is one of 50 youths nationwide to be chosen as director for NYCHA. He is the nephew of William and Carol Hopkins of Reading.
Justin has been an active member of the youth cutting program for five years and finished first last year in the Area 7 point standings.
As an area director, he will represent NYCHA members from Kansas and Nebraska at the group’s regional events and will work with members in his area to promote the sport of cutting.
Justin is a freshman at Northern Heights High School, where he is class treasurer and is active in the Future Business Leaders of America and basketball. He is a member of the First Christian Church of Emporia.
