If you have opinions to share, The Gazette may have a spot for you.
We’re looking for columnists on our local editorial page who are interested in talking about issues that interest themselves and their neighbors.
We also are interested in hearing from people with special interests who want to write columns about their hobbies. And we’ve got room for bloggers on our Web site, www.emporiagazette.com.
If any of these options interest you, let us know. We’re looking for people of all ages and all walks of life — from grade school to high school, young adults to senior citizens, those just starting out and those winding down.
To apply, let us see samples of your work and give us an idea of what you’d like to write or blog about. Send samples by e-mail to egazette@birch.net, fax to 342-8108, mail to P.O. Drawer C, Emporia KS 66801 or drop off at 517 Merchant St.v

I think this is a great idea. I've been blogging for close to 3 years now,
I'm submitting some samples of my writing to the e-mail address above. Please let me know if there's anything else I can provide you.
I appreciate your consideration.
