S & S Oil and Propane
Jim and Mary Shepherd and Joyce and Craig French were hosts for the 47th annual S & S
Oil and Propane Company Christmas party held Dec. 5 at the Emporia Country Club. Amy Rowland played the piano as guests arrived. Each person was given a signature bingo card and instructed to mingle with other guests to get signatures to fill the cards. Dinner was served and introductions were made.
After dessert, games were played by everyone present. A game from S & S Oil’s history was played by matching the event with the year it happened. The winning team received Chamber of Commerce certificates. The group took their bingo cards to play bingo; those who voiced bingo won Chamber certificates or table centerpieces.
