First Friends Church chili supper
The First Friends Church annual Chili Supper and Country Store will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22 (Thursday) at the church on Sixth Ave. and Sylvan St. The meal includes a bowl of chili or vegetable beef soup, relish, beverage and dessert.
Neosho Rapids Community Projects breakfast
Neosho Rapids Community Projects will have a biscuit and gravy breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Neosho Rapids Community Building. The menu includes two biscuits and gravy and beverage for $3. For $4, an egg and sausage casserole is included. Proceeds will be used for a marquee sign.
St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church pancake feed
St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church is preparing to continue the tradition by serving its pancake supper, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church, 828 Commercial St. The menu features pancakes, of course, plus a choice of sausage or turkey breast. Tickets at the door are $6 for adults, $2 for children 10 and under. Children 2 and under eat free. Advance tickets for adult meals are $5.

EHS band booster chili supper
The Emporia High School Band Booster Club will have a chili supper today from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at Emporia High School. The cost if $5 for the meal deal, which includes chili, chili dog or Frito pie, dessert and drink.
