Casey Henningsen had 17 points for ESU. She had eight points in the first 4:42 of the second half.
ESU trailed by as many as 12 in the second half, but a Lady Hornet run capped by a Michelle Stueve three-point play tied the score at 52.
Nikki Pierce hit a jumper in the lane to make it 65-62 Gorillas with 35 seconds left.
Tegan Stuart air-balled a 24-foot 3-pointer at the buzzer that would have tied it.

I have been a supporter of the Lady Hornets for a lot of years and last nights game was the first time that I saw no fire no desire. It was disappointing to say the least. I hope they find some fire before saturday or we will be slaughtered!
Maybe the fire should start with Brandon. Show some emotion Brandon instead of drinking your water and standing with your arms crossed. Bring some fire!!!!!!!!
They radio is right by calling the games The Valentine Day Massacre.
