Fix your pet
“See your vet, fix your pet. It’s a win-win” is the motto for the annual spay and neuter program of the Humane Society of the Flint Hills.
The Society will discount $10 off the price of either completed procedure, up to two animals per family, at the time of payment.
The discount is available for residents of Lyon, Chase, Coffey, Greenwood, Morris, Osage and Wabaunsee counties.

Card shower
The family request a card shower for former Americus resident Mary Elizabeth Sowers, who will celebrate her 83rd birthday Feb. 15. Cards may be sent her at 9 Birch St., Trinity, Texas 75862.
