There were no injuries in a house fire that destroyed an Emporia trailer home early Sunday afternoon.
At 12:25 p.m. Sunday, an ambulance, three fire engines, shift commander vehicle, EMS supervisor pick-up and fire marshal vehicle were called to 1302 East Street, No. 34, for a structure fire.
The home was occupied by the family of Jorge H. Prietos, said Acting Officer Alan Sage of the Emporia Fire Department.
No injuries were reported, but the quick-moving fire, heat and smoke damage destroyed the home.
The fire was caused by a water heater, Sage said.
