An Emporia man was arrested early this morning after he fled from police in Emporia.
Theodore A. Fuller, 22, was arrested after he fled when an Emporia Police officer tried to stop him in the area of 12th Avenue and Stanton Street for a traffic violation.
Sgt. David DeVries, of the Emporia Police Department, said Fuller initially began to stop and then fled. The officer then pursued Fuller’s vehicle. After a brief chase through mainly residential areas, Fuller’s vehicle got stuck in a field just southwest of Logan Avenue and Congress Street.
Fuller was arrested without further incident. Offenses include felony flee and elude; habitual violator; driving while revoked; possession of marijuana; reckless driving and various other traffic offences.
