CHRISTMAS came a bit early for us this year. Our son Jason Hart came home from Iraq on Dec. 18.
The ceremony was very touching and there was not a dry eye to be found in the whole crowd. As I was looking around at the other families my thoughts went to the Lane family and how they would never get this chance. We need to remember all the soldiers who don’t make it home.
I never in my whole life thought my child would be serving in a war, but the fact is there are a lot of young men and women over there.
We were very lucky Jason came home. I praise the Lord every day for that blessing. Please keep all the families of our troops in your prayers. I want to thank everyone who prayed for us or just said a kind word.
I pray for comfort and peace for the Lane family and for all those who did not make it back.
